On October 13, 2025 the City of Wildomar awarded a construction contract to PTM General Engineering Services, Inc. for the Bundy Canyon Road/Harvest Way Traffic Signal Project (CIP 088) and Signalized Intersection Improvements Project (CIP 089) ("Projects").

Drivers are advised to anticipate delays during this time and to consider using alternate routes. Please use caution when driving through the area.

General Updates

A Notice to Proceed was issued to the contractor (PTM) on October 20, 2025, The construction contract allows 185 working days to complete the required work: 45 working days to obtain project approvals for traffic signal materials and to complete pre-construction activities, and 140 working days for construction. 

The contract completion is projected to be by the end of May 2026 (barring time extensions due to change orders or inclement weather).

Please use caution when driving through construction areas in the city, and please follow all traffic control signs and direction from project traffic control personnel. Please expect delays when driving through the construction area. Construction Zone speed limits are strictly enforced.

Project Summary

The Bundy Canyon Road/Harvest Way Traffic Signal Project (CIP 088) and Signalized Intersection Improvements Project (CIP 089) includes the following:

  • Bundy Canyon Road/Harvest Way Traffic Signal Project (CIP 088) 
    • install new traffic signal poles and video detection equipment at Bundy Canyon Road and Harvest Way Intersection
    • construct AC Dike
    • remove and install signing and striping
  • Signalized Intersection Improvements Project (CIP 089)
    • modify existing traffic signal at Bundy Canyon Road and Orange Street Intersection
      • remove and install signing and striping
    • modify existing traffic signal at Grand Avenue and Corydon Road Intersection
      • install illuminated street name signs
      • remove conflicting street lights
      • remove and install signing and striping
  • All other items not mentioned but indicated in the Plans, Specifications, and the Technical Specifications within the Contract Documents. 

Project Schedule

Construction schedule is TBD but should conclude at the end of May 2026.
