Stormwater Quality

When it rains in Wildomar, rainwater runs off rooftops, parking lots, driveways, lawns, cars, streets, and open land. Depending on its location in the City, this rainwater runoff (or stormwater runoff) drains to Lake Elsinore or to the Murrieta Creek, either by surface flows or through a storm drain system.

Water District

Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) is a public non-profit agency. As a special district, EVMWD’s powers include provision of public water service, water supply development and planning, wastewater treatment and disposal, and recycling. Currently, the district has over 47,000 water, wastewater and agricultural service connections. EVMWD is proposing a rate adjustment. Please visit their website for more details.

Wildomar Cemetery District

The Wildomar Cemetery was first established in 1898 and then the Wildomar Cemetery became a public cemetery district on March 28, 1955 under Section 8890 et. seq. Of the Health and Safety Code by resolution of the Riverside County Board Supervisors.

Wildomar Fire Department

The City of Wildomar has a partnership with CAL FIRE Riverside County Fire Department to provide Fire, Rescue, Emergency Medical Services and Fire Prevention Services to the City. We are a full-service all risk fire department that services approximately 37,183 residents in 24 square miles. Population increases daily due to highly traveled I-15.

Wildomar Police Department

Law enforcement services are provided by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department with local policing directed from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s station located at 333 Limited Avenue, Lake Elsinore.
